|One of my recent adventures … courtesy of the U.S. Marine Corps.|
One of these has been trying to survive the all too slow transition from winter to what passes as spring here in Cleveland. As the snow and ice melt away it reveals the roads have come to resemble a lunar landscape. Half of my morning commute involves negotiating car swallowing craters. Was there a meteor shower last night? An artillery barrage? IEDs?
As spring begins the monsters have begun to come out as well. Every night a new beast presents itself on our back porch asking if the Apocalypse Kitten can come out to play. The latest are the frogs who have moved into the small pond in the back yard. They spend their nights serenading us with their froggy love songs. I’m certain my wife will soon be done listening to the frog sex talk. Any day now she’ll send me into the back yard with a flame thrower and sledge hammer.
At any rate, stay tuned for more tales of high adventure! Or perhaps, tales of administrative frustration and skyrocketing blood pressure.
