Atomic Wonderland

As is my practice, here is another Christmapocalyptic carol to ring in the holiday. Hope you and yours have a very merry Christmas!

Sung to the tune of Winter Wonderland:

Gun shots ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Corpses are glistening
A horrific sight
The dead are rising tonight
Walking in an atomic wonderland

Gone away is the town reactor
Here to stay, nuclear disaster
What kind of fall out
Causes corpses to shout
Walking in an atomic wonderland

In the meadow we can see a zombie
He just took a bite of Parson Brown
He’ll say: Can you save me?
We’ll say: No man.
The best we can do
Is put you down.

Later on
With the survivors
We’ll throw the bodies on the fire
Then face unafraid
The mutant hordes that were made
Walking in an atomic wonderland

From the meadow stumbles another zombie
He hungers for living flesh now
We’ll have to try and outrun him
Until the others can gun him down

Nuclear winter
Ain’t it thrilling
Though walking dead,
Makes it chilling
We’ll maneuver and slay,
Mutant undead all day
Walking in an atomic wonderland

Walking in an atomic wonderland
Walking in an atomic wonderland!

Semper Fidelis!
